Omar qudrat

Omar is an attorney and former U.S. Department of Defense official. During his national security career, Omar spent 18 months in Afghanistan during the surge as the coalition’s Deputy Chief of Rule of Law and Political Advisor to the NATO Ambassador. He then became a counter-terrorism prosecutor. Omar supported the death penalty case against the alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, the death penalty case against the alleged mastermind of the USS Cole bombing, and a case against the alleged Al Qaeda operational commander in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Omar participated in and led investigations overseas involving suspected terrorist network members and leaders. Detailed to the U.S. Department of State, Omar was responsible for developing foreign prosecutions of Guantanamo detainees. During his national security career, Omar proudly represented the United States in nations including Afghanistan, UAE, Israel, and Saudi Arabia.

Omar was the Republican nominee for the 2018 United States Congressional Election in California’s 52nd district.

Omar holds a B.A. in Philosophy from UCLA with Latin Honors and College Honors, M.A. in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Public Affairs at Syracuse, M.S. in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse, and J.D. from Syracuse Law School.

Omar’s attorney admissions include New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and The Supreme Court of the United States.

Omar currently holds the rank of Major in the U.S. Army Reserve.

He started his career with the Daniel D’Aniello (The Carlyle Group Co-Founder) Entrepreneurship Program where Omar worked on acquisition of technologies, identifying and segmenting emerging markets and bringing concepts to feasibility.

Omar’s parents immigrated to California in the early 1970s from Afghanistan. Born and raised in Southern California, Omar is the proud child of hard-working and patriotic immigrants who are living proof that the American Dream is still achievable today.

Most recently Kaysar has served as a product executive at publicly traded companies, including Evolus and Desktop Metal. Kaysar’s experience includes leading product, design, engineering, and digital marketing. Products conceived of and brought to feasibility resulted in surges to top positions in intensely competitive industries.

Kaysar has nearly 20 years of experience providing expertise and execution of tech products across multiple industries, enabling both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies to strategize, define, and design a range of tech products to clinch a commercial competitive edge.

Kaysar has launched venture backed startups, one of which was selected for Facebook’s FB Start Program.

Nada Hindiyeh

Nada Hindiyeh, M.D., is a clinical assistant professor in the department of Neurology at Stanford.  

She was awarded the 2013 Clinical Research Fellowship in Neurotoxins by the American Academy of Neurology. Her areas of research interests include pathophysiology and novel treatments for migraine, the use of transcranial magnetic stimulation in headache disorders, and participation in clinical trials for new headache therapeutics. She is currently a member of the American Headache Society as well as the International Headache Society.

Dr. Hindiyeh completed her medical degree at the University of Toledo College of Medicine in Ohio. Both her internship and neurology residency were completed at the University of California, Irvine, where she was chief resident.

khurram dara

Khurram Dara is a lawyer based in New York. He is an author and has written op-eds for several publications including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and CNN.

Khurram’s professional experience includes working on law and policy issues related to technology, infrastructure and financial services. Previously, he helped start the digital assets practice at at the law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutckiffe and most recently served as general counsel to a fintech company in Brooklyn.

Khurram is the author of Contracting Fear: Islamic Law in the Middle East and Middle America (Cascade Books 2015).

Khurram is a graduate of Columbia Law School and received his undergraduate degree from Emory University.

Wasey Noori

Born in San Bernardino, CA, Wasey Noori is a SoCal native who developed a passion for serving his larger community. Most recently Wasey was a staff member for Congressman Paul Cook (R-CA) in the 8th District of California. Wasey worked on counter-terrorism efforts prior and with greater effort after the San Bernardino ISIS terrorist attack. Wasey has worked extensively with local law enforcement and local government, bringing the know-how to work on a team dedicated to producing creative solutions to prevent homeland terrorist attacks. After dedicating four years to empower the concerns of local constituents, families, and youth that deal with the repercussions of government efficiencies, Wasey became an advisor to the Muslim Coalition for America.

Through MCA, Wasey continues to empower the marginalized voices of individuals who are exhausted that their concerns are not heard by their political representatives.
